A haven for wildlife there are many birds on the loch including swans, geese, osprey, cormorant, ducks, kingfisher and grebes, with beaver, otter and deer roaming the surrounding land. We are conscious of our environment and have large field margins , grass roadways through the fields and are annually planting hedgerows and trees by the loch. This year we planted wild flowers between the blocks of trees. It was truly marvellous and attracted a wealth of insects.
