Locally Grown Christmas Trees in The Heart of Perthshire
At Sholach we are passionate about our Christmas trees. A passion that goes back nearly 30 years and we take great pride in growing, caring, and readying our trees for the festive season.
Sholach is derived from the Gaelic ‘sòlach’ which means ‘highly delighted/really happy. This is what we think you will be when you visit our Christmas tree farm to choose your tree. Indulge in the great outdoors, have a walk by the loch and let the bairns run free through the trees. We are dog friendly. An adventure for all the family.
"This is the most amazing place to get your Christmas tree from, its so magical to walk through a forest of real trees and pick your own one"
"Just about to take our tree down
. Still looking great and smelling lovely after 30 days! We will definitely see you next year"
Sholach Christmas trees is a family run business. The McIntyre family have farmed at Wester Essendy for around 100 years. Originally, raspberry growers, we diversified into growing Christmas trees in 1992.
Set in the stunning countryside of Eastern Perthshire our Christmas trees are grown around one of the many lochs in the Lunan Valley an area known for its wildlife, rich farmland, local food production, and impressive scenery.
